Description
Champakali is made from wheat flour or maida mixed with ghee, cardamom, and a pinch of salt to form a soft dough. The dough is rolled, sliced into decorative shapes, and deep-fried until crisp. Finally, it is soaked in warm sugar syrup to give it a shiny, sweet coating.
