Description
Ribbon Muruku is made by mixing rice flour, besan, butter, sesame seeds, red chili powder, and salt into a smooth dough using water. The dough is then filled into a muruku press fitted with a ribbon-shaped plate and pressed directly into hot oil. It is fried on medium flame until the murukus turn golden, crisp, and aromatic. Once cooled completely, they are broken into pieces, checked for uniform crispness, and packed in airtight containers to maintain freshness. This method ensures perfectly crunchy Ribbon Muruku with rich flavor and long shelf life.
