Description
Banana Chips are prepared by selecting firm, raw bananas which are peeled and sliced into thin, even rounds. The slices are immediately soaked in salted water to prevent discoloration, then drained and fried in hot coconut oil or regular cooking oil until they turn crisp and golden. During frying, turmeric water or salted water may be sprinkled to enhance color and flavor. Once the chips are perfectly crunchy, they are removed from the oil, drained, cooled completely, and tossed with salt or desired masala before being packed in airtight containers. This method ensures fresh, crispy, and flavorful Banana Chips with long-lasting crunch.
